Fujifilm Nationwide Photowalk Experience 2019

Every year Fujifilm Philippines hosts an event for every professional, aspiring and amateur photographers all over the country. They started this Nationwide Photowalk event last 2013 and celebrated its 6th year last August 10, 2019, which I participated in.

This event is free and open to all Fujifilm and Non-Fujifilm Camera users, so I was a little overwhelmed by the number of participants who came that day. I have no professional experience as a photographer but I like photography, that’s why I joined.

Winners of this contest will receive the following prices:

Fujifilm users
Grand Winner: XF16-55mm F2.8 R LM WR Lens
1st Runner Up: XF10-24mm F4 R OIS Lens
2nd Runner Up: XF16mm F2.8 R WR Lens
Top 100 will be included in the Nationwide Photowalk Exhibit 2019

Not into the price, I was there for the experience and I am happy to meet two young ladies from la Consolacion College.

Street photography started around 7 o’clock, from Lupit Church where the meetup point is. We walked towards Libertad Market and started taking snaps related to the theme “breaking Patterns”.

I really had fun taking shots in the market area, snaps from buildings to vendors and customers passing by each stall. To stack fruits and vegetables and everything in between.

Here are a few shots of me in raw data directly from my camera. Only picked which I think is the best one.

Not a good photographer but attending this kind of events once in a year is something fulfilling.

Due to the overwhelming amount of photos Fujifilm Philippines received, they will announce the winner this September 2019. Let’s stay tuned.

If life gave you pineapples eat them!
